Whole foods, natural and unchanged, fed humankind for thousands of years, but sometime in the middle of the last century, food began to change into something best described as "not really food."
Few of our grandmothers and likely none of our great grandmothers would recognize many of the so called foods people feed their families today.

Have you heard of drift racing? In normal driving you slow down when you reach a curve but not in drift racing. Using special techniques you barely slow down as you "drift" through the curve and exit at a high speed. There's a whole sport devoted to this.
It's interesting to watch the cars because if they are turning left, the front of their cars are pointed to the right, which helps them take the turn at a super fast pace.
Science is amazing in its ability to duplicate natural things. Man-made fabrics can feel just like fine silk at a fraction of the price. Man-made flooring looks remarkably like prized hardwood, yet is more durable and cheaper.
But when it comes to nutrition, nature has the upper hand. Even the idea that a synthetic, laboratory created vitamin could be a replacement for a natural vitamin supplement is ridiculous.
