Is Tasty Hawaiian Noni Juice a Healthy Juice?
Hawaiian noni is becoming more and more popular as people are beginning to look for a more natural diet than the one they are currently using. As people are looking to cleanse their life of transfat and other preservatives, natural foods from around the world are quickly filling in the void. This causes the exposure of foods that were once local treasures to become international treats. The Hawaiian noni is no exception to this trend.

Originally, the Hawaiian noni and its twin, the Polynesian noni were just known and eaten on the islands in which they are raised as stock crop. The noni plant, being so hardy, is able to thrive on weak soil and volcanic soils. This makes it a very valuable plant for those who live in difficult areas to sow more popular plants such as wheat or corn. Known as the cheese fruit, the Hawaiian noni is a small fruit with a dense meat and very little juice. When this fruit is ripe, the fruit has a very distinct and to some unpleasant smell of cheese. To others, this smells very good.

While the Hawaiian noni is low on vitamins and minerals, the fruit is very high in protein, fats and carbohydrates. This can make this fruit one of the best fruits for a meal replacement as it will keep the calorie base up while providing the body with the necessary proteins. Known as the starvation fruit, people in the Polynesians and Hawaii have used this fruit for generations as a fruit to ward of hunger.

There are several ways to eat the Hawaiian noni. One of the most common ways to eat this unique Hawaiian noni fruit is to eat it raw. This is also one of the best ways to eat the fruit for its health benefits as it keeps what vitamins and minerals that are in it intact. You just have to watch out for the seeds when eating the fruit raw. Another way is to cook the Hawaiian noni fruit. There are several recipes that one can use to cook the noni fruit. Once the fruit is cooked, the seeds are more edible.

The Hawaiian noni juice is the fruit juice from the noni fruits. The noni juice is also lower on the carbohydrate, fat, and protein levels than the noni fruit itself. This is because most of the nutritional value for the fruit is contained in the meat of the fruit. Drinking a high pulp noni juice may replace a large portion of the carbohydrates that are missing from the noni fruit juice.
