4 Causes of Wrinkles
Soon or later you will get wrinkles. Therefore you will need to find out ways to keep your skin young looking. Even if you are older there are many ways you can do this. Today let us look at four causes that bring about wrinkles and how you can keep yourself safe.

1. Sun

Sunbathing is a very popular activity in the summer months. Everyone wants a perfect tan. This is a very unhealthy thing to do however as the suns rays will contribute to premature aging. It doesn't matter if you are at the beach or at home in your own back yard. It doesn't even matter if the sun is shining, the suns rays are still there doing there damage.

You need to use protection against the sun. The tender areas of your skin are the most important, such as the face and neck. Your hands are important also as they become wrinkled with age. Think about the areas of your body that are never exposed to the sun. Are they wrinkled? Use protection whenever you go out. If you cannot use a sun block protection cover your precious skin from the damaging sun rays with a hat or sunglasses and long sleeves.

2. Hormonal Change

Menopause will lead to changes in your skin because your body produces less estrogen. These hormonal changes lead to the development of wrinkles, a natural result of aging. You bodies production of collagen will also diminish. This will affect the elasticity of your skin and make it dryer.

These changes are all normal. Everyone will go through it. Always live healthy to have a long, happy and also young looking life. Take any vitamins you need and find the right creams and moisturizers to help you stay wrinkle free.

3. Muscle Use

You inadvertently cause wrinkles by the things you do naturally every day such as frowning, laughing, and making expressions to show your feelings. These all cause the skin to become less supple over time and will create lines where ever your face regularly creases. Take supplements and use creams and lotions to help keep your skin healthy and smooth.

4. Gravity

The pull of gravity takes its toll over the years. Drooping, sagging and wrinkles are the result of this force pulling you down. It may help to sleep on your back if you can get comfortable this way. Get plenty of sleep. That is why they call it beauty sleep. Late hours and early mornings will make you age fast. Don't make your skin suffer.

When that first wrinkle appears in the mirror, stay calm. There are many things you can do to combat aging. You need to do a lot of research before using it as you can have adverse reactions or bad side effects from some products. You don't want to complicate the issue by creating more problems. It may take a little time but it is worth the effort to have younger looking skin.
