Pheromone Research Helps Sift Myths From Facts
We all want to be more attractive to our partners and would go to extensive lengths in order to gain more sex appeal in certain occasions. We all know that appearances and scents contribute a great deal in order to attract the opposite sex as well as to set an ambiance or mood.

Pheromones are chemicals produced naturally by living organisms to attract the opposite sex; here we debunk the myths and explore the facts about pheromones.

A Particular Scent Will Make You Irresistible

You can find pheromones in all perfumes because they are in plants and flowers that are the base for perfumes. Many manufacturers take advantage of that and advertise their product as irresistible to the opposite sex. While a perfume will definitely make one smell better (depending on your personal likes and dislikes) pheromone research shows that by simply using a perfume, a person will not get liked any better or less then he or she already is.

Another pheromone myth suggests that human being release the chemical naturally and it is used to attract the opposite sex. Pheromones research proves that while humans do release pheromones they do not use them to attract the opposite sex as it depends from person to person what body odor each finds attractive and which ones are deemed repulsive.

Facts of Pheromones Research

The facts unraveled by pheromones research is that they are released by living organisms to communicate and attract each other and send signals such as, warn, alarm and/or set a trail. This is a common practice in ants and that is why you will notice that the ants will go exactly on the trail of the other because they sense the pheromone scent.

Pheromones in Everyday Life

Pheromones are present everywhere you turn - in the flowers, plants and animals as well as the perfume that you use. Will you be more attractive because you use a perfume? Not really, especially to someone who is allergic and gets into a sneezing frenzy every time you pass by!

Use perfume discreetly and keeping in mind the time and place where you are wearing it, you will find that you will be more attractive that way. Pheromone research is an ongoing process to find the magic potion that can be used by us humans in order to attract a partner. To date, there is nothing that has been proved to work solely based on the presence of pheromones.
